About Scott Clark
Our Story
Scott Clark was born in the Bronx and moved to Newburgh, New York as a child. He has lived in Morris County, New Jersey for the past 24 years.
Singer/songwriter Scott Clark describes the songs as a culmination of acoustic-folk rock with a twist of funk and jazz. He offers a fresh new sound, but stands on the giant influences of Tom Waits, Syd Barrett, Thelonious Monk, Jimi Hendrix, The Clash, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Elliott Smith, Belle & Sebastian, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and The Kinks. Whether it be playing in a coffeehouse, a bar, or any social function, he seeks to be honest in his own style.
Scott Clark is a singer-songwriter who has performed in the bands Something Fell..., Dipt, Ban FM, and The Furry Turtles.
The Furry Turtles became a solo project from 2016-2023.
